The First Escape Part I
What a night it had been. Working the late shift, as well as taking over for Carols afternoon shift on a busy day was tough work. The long night was almost at an end though, soon Cindy would be able to go home and relax. Tomorrow was her day off, and she could hardly wait. As an upbeat rock tune played softly in the background in Js Bar, Cindy waited the tables, taking the empty glasses away on her tray. A few of the usuals sat quietly at the bar, drinks in hand. The work had been hard, but the pay was good as a result, not to mention the tips. She took the last empty glass from the bar which had belonged to a man in uniform, a man from the RPD to be exact. Even though she was tired, she managed to wear her cheerful smile. The officer wearily smirked back, adding a wink as she took the glass. Cindy was used to this kind of gesture.

The police! Kevin excitedly cried out. The voice sounded as though projected through a megaphone, and it was very close by.
Lets get a move on! Mark exclaimed. The three ran for the only door on the new roof. It led them to a small, run down room with only one door and the elevator. They quickly entered, pushing the button for the first floor. In moments, they had reached the bottom. The doors slid open.
That door at the end leads to the city streets! Come on! Cindy beckoned them as she ran ahead to the worn out door at the back of the corridor. She slowly pushed it open, allowing Kevin and Mark to step out in front of her. Kevins face had a renewed sense of hope to it, as he saw a fellow officer guarding the area.
They all jogged up to the man. Yo, Ray! Kevin called out as they approached him.
The man whirled around, shotgun in hand.&
